This is an elegantly converted 16th Century former Inn. Each apartment has one double and one twin bedroom as well as a double bed settee in the living area. A comfortable sitting room/dining kitchen area and modern bathroom complete the picture. The apartments are beautifully decorated, combining restored antiques with the best of modern facilities and design. One apartment also has a small balcony.

Set in extensive landscaped gardens with outside eating areas and barbeque facilities, the large pool and decked area provide all you need for relaxation. There is also a poolside shower and changing room.

Situated along the 'Via Vandelli' the ancient route leading from the Versillian coast, the ancient ‘Osteria’ was a stop for many travellers and merchants going through the beautiful Garfagnana Region of northern Tuscany. Set in the valley between the Apennine and Apuane Mountains, the area is well known for its spectacular scenery, medieval villages, fresh warm air and delicious food.

The nearby village of La Pieve Fosciana has a number of shops selling local produce and a small weekly outdoor market. There are three restaurants within walking distance as well as cafe/bars.

Although summer tends to be the most popular holiday time, this area is particularly beautiful in spring and autumn because of the wide variety of plant life and vivid colours of the chestnut forest.
